The Purple Paradise
The Lavender field at Maize Valley is indeed a Purple Paradise of blooms, alive with the sound of gently buzzing bees as they work their magic collecting pollen to make honey. The scent of lavender lingers in the air on a soft summer night – soothing the mind and soul.
Lavender season at Maize Valley typically starts in June with the arrival of early blossoms and goes into July with the late blooming varieties. Please check out all of the events listed for activites and viewing dates.
Lavender is a very fragrant and beautiful plant. The aroma of fresh cut lavender has a calming, soothing effect. The blossoms can also be easily dried to enjoy in your home all year, the aroma lingers in the dried flowers for a year or more.
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny is a fun filled family event. Every child gets a chance to visit with the Easter Bunny and there are lots of great photo opportunities (so bring your camera).
The buffet style breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, juice & coffee. Mimosa’s for the adults are available for an additional charge.
There is also a cookie decorating station where the kids can decorate an egg shaped cookie. If the weather permits, there will be an Easter Egg hunt outside – if not, then the Easter Bunny will pass out eggs to the children.
You will have a reserved table with your paid reservation and it will be your table for the duration of the event. If you would like to sit with another party, please let us know at the time of your reservation and we will make every attempt to accommodate your request.
There are a limited number of high chairs available.
Bring your cameras – there will be many great photo opportunities.
Egg Hunt – Weather Permitting there will be an egg hunt outside, dress appropriately and bring your own basket. If the weather is inclement, then the Easter Bunny will pass out eggs to the children.
