Covid-19/Coronavirus Information

Covid-19 At Maize Valley

As with everyone else, we’re being drastically affected by Covid-19, the coronavirus. We are in compliance with the state of Ohio, following all recommended best practices relating to sanitation and hygiene, all surfaces are continually disinfected throughout the day, etc.

Effective Friday, May 15 – outside patio will be open.  Tables for the first week will accommodate up to 4 guests each.  Tables may not be joined.

Hours Monday – Saturday 10 am – 8 pm.

You will notice some changes in service at Maize Valley.  We will NOT ask our guests to order at the bar, instead you will be seated at a table, and we will take your order table side.  This is a new system for us, so please be patient!

Guests should remain at their table unless they need to use the restroom.  This includes children!  Every table will have a “service” card – when you need something, just place the card in your napkin holder.  We will still be starting “tabs” as in the past with a credit card – you can either pay with that card at the end of your experience with us, or you can pay with cash.

There will be no sampling at the bar – you can however order flights from your server.  Our food menu is very similar to BC (before covid), we temporarily eliminated a few items to help our staff as we learn this new system.

Staff will be wearing masks (except for kitchen staff), we suggest that you wear one as well when you are not eating/drinking – but they are not required.  All tables and non disposable items will be thoroughly sanitized between guests (this includes service signs, napkin holders, pens, etc.)  In addition all touch points in our facility are sanitized every two hours.  We will be utilizing paper menus and they will be single use.

Starting May 21 – inside dining will be open.  Yes, our capacity will be reduced to accommodate recommended social distancing.  Again, tables may not be joined together and the MAXIMUM group size will be 8 guests.  There is no entertainment at this time.

Maize Valley’s Wine of The Month is Sinfully Red.  Shadowed in mystery and seductively dressed in “red”, who is that sinful beauty in a bottle? Maize Valley’s Sinfully Red wine is made with the Zinfandel grape, often just referred to as “Zin”
