Sunset Sip in the Corn Maze is BACK!! And it is a very special, Full Hunter’s Moon Edition.  Join us on Saturday, October 28, from 4 – 7 pm! 

Find the various tasting stations scattered throughout the farm and corn maze, sample your choice of either wine or beer at each station, enjoy a seasonal food buffet, but most of all. . . support a great cause.

This year’s Sunset Sip is special, not only because it falls on a full moon,  but also because Maize Valley is donating 100% of the ticket sales to one of our employees who is currently battling the return of her cancer. Melissa is a single mother of 3 children who attend the Marlington Local Schools.  She is a newer staff member at Maize Valley and is well liked for her sunny and cheerful disposition and willingness to work hard and help her fellow employees. With mounting medical bills, and a family to care for, Melissa is in need of our help.

Advance tickets are $40 and include entrance to the fall harvest activities, your choice of wine or beer samples at 5 different stations and a seasonal food buffet. You are welcome to spend the day enjoying all of the fall harvest activities (these open at 12 noon), onsite check in for the Sunset Sip event will open at 3 pm and tasting will be available at the five stations from 4 – 6 pm. The food buffet will be available from 5:30 – 6:30 – additional wine/beer/soda will be available for purchase. The event ends at 7 pm.

We will also be offering a variety of raffle and silent auction items – with all the proceeds going to Melissa. 

As many of you know, cancer is no stranger to the Maize Valley Family. Two of our family members have fought their own battle with this horrible disease. We have held numerous breast cancer fundraisers in the past benefitting the Susan G Komen Foundation – the support you have shown us for these events has always been overwhelming and we hope you will join us once again in supporting a great cause!
