Now in it’s 28th year, the annual Hot Air Balloon lift off kicks off the Fall Harvest Season at Maize Valley. September 19 & September 20 are the dates for the 2026 Hot Air Balloon Lift Off.
Enjoy the beautiful view as over 6 Hot Air Balloons lift off to the sky. Your admission includes all of the fall harvest activites at Maize Valley with the added bonus of the Hot Air Balloons. Plan to spend the afternoon exploring the corn maze, take a wagon ride, enjoy delicious food and beveragem, watch the duck races and pumpkin cannon shows.
Lift off generally occurs during the late afternoon to early evening hours (4 – 6 pm), and is dependant on the winds and general atmospheric conditions. Lift off is at the sole discretion of the balloon pilots – refunds are not given if the balloons do not lift off. Parking is free. Insider tip – arrive early – parking can get full.
