Wine and Pine

Join Carrie Paulus, Horticulturalist and ISA Certified Arborist, as she leads a 2hr workshop on creating live holiday wreaths using an array of fresh evergreen boughs, pinecones, branches, berries and seed pods.

Enjoy a glass of wine while you assemble your very own fresh pine wreath.  This fun evening takes place on Tuesday, December 5 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.  An assortment of fresh pine greens, nuts, pine cones, berries and ribbon will be used to make a 16 – 18 inch finished Holiday wreath.  Included in the $45 cost is a glass of wine or beer.  Participants can also enjoy half price appetizers and $2 off any sandwich or dinner salad from 5 – 8 pm.  The class size is limited to 25 people, so purchase your ticket today!!!

A fresh pine wreath is a wonderful accent for your home during the holiday season.  If hung outdoors, the wreath will typically last 5 – 6 weeks.  Indoor wreaths generally last about 2 weeks, although the life of these wreaths is dependent on inside and outside conditions.

The workshop includes: hands-on instruction from prep to finished design and all materials to create your own fragrant 14” fresh holiday wreath. If you want to personalize your creation, bring items to add to your design, such as ribbon or other embellishments.  Several ribbon choices will be included in the project.

Wreaths will last approximately 5-6 weeks on an exterior door/gate and inside approximately 2 weeks depending on heat/cold and wind exposure
