SUMMARY:Sunflower Festival
DESCRIPTION:The annual Sunflower Festival at Maize Valley will take place on two days this year – August 22nd and August 29th from 10 am – 4 pm both days. \nThe festival features a beautiful field of blooming sunflowers in all different shades of red\, yellow and orange. Admission to view the field and take pictures is $10 per person\, pick a take home bucket of blooms for an additional $10. (Under 5 is free). \nIn addition to the sunflower field\, we also host a makers market with over 100 hand crafted artisans and vendors with a huge variety of items such as jewelry\, clothing\, pet products\, wood working\, baby items\, food trucks\, live music and more!  Admission to the makers market and parking are FREE.

DESCRIPTION:Enjoy live music at Maize Valley on Saturday nights. We feature a variety of local musical talent\, usually singles and duos\, but sometimes we have larger groups perform as well. \nDuring the summer months we move the music to our outdoor stage. We offer some seating\, you are welcome to bring your own chairs/blankets. The backyard bar will be open as well offering a variety of wine\, beer\, soda\, food & snacks. You are NOT permitted to bring any type of coolers or picnic baskets. \nNo outside food or beverages permitted – NO PETS. \nMusic plays from 6:30 – 9 on Saturday nights. Our musicians typically play a wide range of music – cover tunes from the 70’s\, 80’s\, 90’s and beyond.
