About Us
Greetings from Bill the “FunTSAR” @ Maize Valley Market and Winery. We are a family farm, farm market and winery that traces its roots in the Marlboro township (Hartville Ohio) area to the 1800’s. We are a working farm of about 700 acres with crops ranging from Grapes to Cucumbers and Hay to Habeneros. We also harvest a whole bunch of fun with our wagon rides, field tours, corn mazes, 5K & 1/2 marathon races, civil war re-enactments, wine tastings and more. That is why my title is the “FunTSAR”, because when you have a TSAR or (CZAR) that means you are serious! We like to say “We Make Great Wine…FUN!” Because if you can’t have a good time enjoying wine or other great fruits of the land…. well life is just to short for anything else.
Maize Valley Winery, located in beautiful Hartville, Ohio, focuses on our dedication to our NE Ohio community. Our quality products,fun activities, and our excellent reputation as a one of a handful of Ohio wineries, make Maize Valley an excellent place to spend the day or weekend. Visit our wine tasting room or our online store, or simply learn more about what wines are available, and how to serve them. The vintages of the Maize Valley have been recognized numerous times for awards for taste, quality, and presentation.
Throughout the year we host a variety of special events many based around the season of the year. We also try to theme them to be consistant with the elements that make us a unique destination.
