A strong stout brewed with Belgian dark candi sugar and then aged on cocoa nibs post fermentation. The malt bill for this bill has the typical doses of roast barley and chocolate malt that most other stouts have. It does however have a high percentage of Extra Special/Special B malt that lends a nice backround flavor of dried fig/raisin/dates. In addition, this beer is fermented with a Belgian yeast blend that lends additional dried fruit flavors from its ester production during fermentation. When all said and done, this beer has a pleasant dark chocolate and dried fruit flavor and aroma with hints of coffee and roast. Served in a snifter
